Busy start to 2018

BlueMauriceIt’s nearly the end of January and already I have some new pupils keen to learn the intricacies of this wonderful instrument – the guitar!

I am in collaboration with Captain Tom and tutor a number of pupils using his rehearsal studios  in Ann Street, Aberdeen.

As well as regular tutoring sessions, I play with The Roadhouse Band and we have a very healthy programme of gigs throughout 2018. Our next gig is at Cafe Drummonds in Belmont Street, opening for the legendary Gerry Jablonski and his band on Saturday 3 February.

Get along to hear us if you can and if you are interested in taking up the guitar, get in touch.

I’ll keep you posted on my Facebook page too.

I have been playing guitar now for more years than I care to remember and most recently I have been playing blues with a band in Houston, Texas.

Now back in Aberdeen, Scotland, I have registered with the Registry of Guitar Tutors so that I can now pass on my skills to others who are keen to learn.

I teach acoustic and electric guitar and specialise in rock and blues but can also teach other genres, whatever your interest.

From beginner to intermediate and advanced levels I can take you through a repertoire to introduce new skills, enhance existing ones and build on your own individual experience.

So if this is something you have always wanted to do, go on, make it your New Year’s resolution! Learn guitar now!
